    Would it be easy to use raycasts or something to make it so you have to click on the object to interact? Also, would this be easily expandable in the future to things like picking up objects, npcs, as well as interacting with something opening up some kind of minigame window?     For anyone wondering why you're getting a NullReferenceException in the ObjectSpawner script: We removed the TimeAgent component in episode 40. But in this episode, it is attached back to the object spawners on the scene.

    --FIXED--- I had to enable Raycast Target in InventoryButton prefab. Thank you for your help Greg :) (Concerning until 18:00) *** I, for the love of GOD, can't place anything after I've picked it up. Here are all the problems I face after having carefully followed the tutorial: -When I click on an existing item, I select it, but the mouse keeps having it on the screen and I can't do anything with it, can't place it within the any invbuttons. - In the inventory, I can only pick the items and "PLACE" the items if the button is already occupied by another item. So let's say I have item1 in invbutton1, and item2 in invbutton2. When I click on Item1 to place it on Invbutton2; -item1 is picked but so there's nothing in invbutton1 -when I place it on invbutton2, i SUCCESFULLY place item1 in invbutton2 -in the meantime, item2 disappears, nowhere to be seen. I added a debug.log on InventoryButton.cs's OnPointer like this: Debug.Log(name + " Game Object Clicked!"); And the only thing it detects is my first ever clicking on the inventory, even if I do it successfully the next time or whatever, nothing is detected. As you can see, I'm dreading this part of the tutorial so any help is appreciated.

    Hi Greg, I found an issue with the re-using of the projectiles in my game. When it cycles through the pool and shoots my projectile, the direction it's facing is static. E.g. I shoot an arrow facing the right, it shoots ok. Once the pool is full and get reused, I'll face left and the arrow prefab is the wrong direction. Have you noticed this?

    Hi Greg, Have you had this issue before: "The same field name is serialized multiple times in the class or its parent class. This is not supported: Base(WhipWeapon) playerMove" Not sure if it's caused by moving the ApplyDamage() from WhipWeapon to WeaponBase

      This means you have same declared memember with same name, look up if you have something with the same name in base class and in your inherited classes.

    Hi Greg, When you update the scripts to use GetDamage() as the new source, does this break the upgrades when it increases damage? I can see the weapon get the damage upgrade but I'm still dealing the same amount as if I didn't select damage upgrade. Thanks

      Ok I found the issue. In the GetDamage() function, we are referencing the wrong data. Should be weaponStats.damage instead of weaponData.stats.damage if anyone else was wondering. Now when you pick up an upgrade, it will add the flat damage and then multiply it by the persistent upgrade from the store panel. public int GetDamage() { int damage = (int)(weaponStats.damage * wielder.damageBonus); return damage; }

    I'm sorry, I may have missed the part where you explain it but, how do you do it for the items always appears on top even with multiple grids? Also, when there is no space in the grid, it just places the item outside of it. Is there any solution I didn't see?

      Its a little weak point, but at the end, ensuring items are on top through hierarchy manipulation. But today i would use more like layers systems.

    Something to keep in mind: When creating the MarkCharacter method, your IDE might suggest inserting a 'null check' (if (markerObject != null). Do not accept this suggestion! The marker is considered 'null' until a character is selected, so the null check will block the needs panel from initializing until you swap between characters.

    Great tutorial as always! Will this tutorial series include splitting stacks and moving 1 item from a stack at a time? I only ask because a lot of inventory tutorials neglect to show how to add that sort of functionality.

    I created the marker, and when I start the game, I have to wait for a while for the marker to change to white. Where do you think I might have made a mistake?

      I think there is a problem with the day time controller file. Because my marker changes color according to time :)
